For pop princess Sarah Geronimo, dreams indeed come true. If you dream hard enough and you work hard enough, chances are you will get what you want. They say life is all about passion, persuasion and attitude.
Sarah or Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo in real life is a girl who came from a poor family in Concepcion, Tarlac, Philippines. Before becoming a professional singer and actress, she joined numerous amateur singing contests since age 7. Her mother supported her all the way even if it would mean extra expenses on their very tight budget at home.
Of course their sacrifices and determination paid off. Sarah won at the Start for a Night, a television singing competition hosted by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. And everything is history.
Sarah did not make it to the top by luck. Unlike Charice Pempengco who was discovered via youtube, Sarah invested sweat, tears and a strong determination to reach for her dreams. Although equally talented, Sarah gives us a better perspective of how life is fair most of the times.

i am not a fan of sarah geronimo, i don't even like her but i would have love to watch her movie with john lloyd, hehe. but i agree, hers is one classic example of those rags to riches stories...
